Both our vehicles are of course fully insured for Public Liabilities and are registered with the Isle of Wight Council. They have been fully inspected by the Enviromental Health Department who indeed awarded us a 5 STAR RATING on the last hygiene inspection!
We have been inspected by and accepted as an “IW COUNCIL APPROVED TRADER”.
We have been awarded the licence to sell ice cream in St James Square, Newport on a daily basis where many people have seen our van and purchased an ice cream.
We have been proud to attend many events from school fairs with 2- 300 people attending, up to the Bestival with over 50,000 people attending and proven ourselves capable to cope in all situations
.
We are delighted to be have been invited to attend the Boat Show at Earls Court in London! We have also attended manyweddings and birthday parties where we turn up and offer ice creams to all the guests – an inexpensive and novel way to provide your sweet! Of course we always dress our ice cream vans with wedding ribbons for your special day!
Please remember when you book one of The Plaza Ices ice cream vans for your event – they do not have to have their engines running all day whilst we serve our delicious ice cream. Why – because once we are parked up we switch off the engine – less fumes, less noise and so much more environmentally friendly!
We would love to attend your event – We pay you to come to your show / fete, helping you to raise funds for your school / charity etc. We have very reasonable rates for attending your private parties and weddings.
